Watermel-jito |Recipe

I am so excited to share this Mocktail with you. If you have heard of this variation before, just ride the excitement train with me. This is easily my new favorite summer beverage. Love does not even cover it.

Refreshing, sweet, and summery goodness all blended in this Watermel-jito. I don’t care what the calendar says… summer is not NEAR over and this drink well absolutely reinforce that statement.

Makes one 8oz serving.

  •  1 cup watermelon  (frozen is a great option too, for a thick slushie drink! )
  • 1 tbsp simple syrup (SS)
  • 6-7 mint leaves
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 5-6 ice cubes (skip cubes if using frozen watermelon)
  • optional 1-2 mint leaves for garnish

Layer mint, SS , lime juice and watermelon in blender or processor.

Blend until combined

Add ice if using, and blend with concoction.

Pour into glass, garnish and sip some summertime.

Note: the photos are of the NON frozen mix.
